Description
One of the most startling things about issue #33 is the cover, entitled “Homage to Freud,” by Ludwig Zeller, whose shocking but intriguing artwork also appears within the issue. This fine print collage shows an array of surprising images including a fish hook hanging from the sky. Synonymous with the more avant-garde, this issue contains “Still,” a short story by Samuel Beckett, author of Waiting for Godot and winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1969. Long-time writing professor at University of Victoria, W.D. Valgardson, is represented by his short story, “Snow.”
